Experience the mountain summer with us in the heart of the Ziller Valley! With about 2,000 inhabitants and 2.4 km² in size, the area around Zell constitutes the heart of the Zillertal, being the administrative and educational centre of the valley.
As early as 1428, Zell was known for its hospitality and accommodation, when travellers from Italy were looking for an inn on their journey to Salzburg and mentioned the village! But not only hospitality is an old tradition here: Zell is the location of the oldest private brewery in the Tyrol, and on the first weeked in May, Austria's biggest spring festival, the Gauder Fest, is held.
In summer, the "ArenaFUNt Club" invites children to take part in a diverse children's programme, the activity programme "Genuss Aktiv" ("Active Enjoyment") ranging from easy to challenging. The Gerlosstein via ferrata introduces nature-loving people of all ages to our beautiful mountain landscape. On a ride with the "Arena Coaster" or the "Arena Skyliner", an extra portion fun is guaranteed!
